- Cemetery Screenings, Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard, Hollywood, CA, 90038. [1] Saturdays, 7pm, May-September. $10 donation at the door. During the summer in Los Angeles, the Cinespia [2] film society holds movie showings once a week, on Saturdays, within the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The featured films are typically (but not always) older cult classics or horror films, such as The Shining, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and The Warriors. While there is no official admission fee, visitors are asked to make a $10 donation upon entrance. The showing is outdoors on one of the large lawns, as the film is projected onto a massive wall, and DJs spin music until it becomes dark enough to play the movie. Bring a lawn chair, a picnic basket, and a bottle of wine, if you so desire, and enjoy a one of a kind experience.</see>
